FoxShift LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Wardrill application, available on Android and on the web at wardrill.app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We collect information necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the App.
Authentication and Account Data
When you sign in with Google through Firebase Authentication, we collect your Google account email address and display name. If you sign in via the passwordless email link option (web only), we collect your email address. This information is used solely for account management and to identify you within the App.
Usage Data
We track how you use the App, including Cogitator Token consumption, feature usage statistics, and timestamps of your interactions. This data is stored server-side in our Cloudflare D1 database and helps us understand how the App is used and where we can improve.
Saved Lists and Settings
If you save Warhammer 40,000 army lists in the App, we store them server-side so they sync across your devices. List content is associated with your account and not shared with other users. App preferences (such as your theme choice and animation settings) are also synced.
Best Coast Pairings (BCP) Integration
If you choose to import lists from your Best Coast Pairings account, we store an authentication token for that account so the App can fetch your lists on your behalf. This token is yours and is used solely to retrieve list data. You can disconnect the integration at any time from within the App.
Bug Reports
When you submit a bug report, we collect the category you assign, your description of the issue, the screen name where the bug occurred, your device platform, operating system version, and app version. This information is sent to GitHub Issues for our engineering team to investigate.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or media, microphone or audio recordings, advertising identifiers, or data from third-party analytics or ad networks.
We use the information we collect to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, provide and improve the App's features, understand usage patterns, investigate and resolve bugs, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important updates. We do not use your data for marketing or advertising.
Firebase Authentication (Google) — Google's authentication service handles your sign-in. Google's use of your data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Cloudflare Workers and D1 — We use Cloudflare's infrastructure to host our proxy server and database. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described in their privacy policy.
Anthropic Claude API — Wardrill's Judicator and Tactica features use Anthropic's Claude language model. When you submit a question or list to these features, your input is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We do not include personal data in these API calls. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their terms of service.
GitHub — Bug reports are stored as GitHub Issues. GitHub's privacy practices are described in their privacy policy.
Patreon (Optional) — If you link your Patreon account to unlock paid tiers, Patreon handles your billing information according to their privacy policy. We receive only your tier name and active status from Patreon, never your payment details.
Best Coast Pairings (Optional) — If you connect your BCP account to import army lists, your BCP authentication token is stored to fetch your list data on your behalf. BCP's privacy practices govern data held by them.
Resend — Outgoing emails (sign-in links, welcome messages) are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. Your email address is shared with Resend only to deliver these emails.
We retain your account data while your account remains active. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at [email protected]. We will delete your information within 30 days. Bug reports on GitHub may be retained separately for technical support purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, receive a copy of your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent for data processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.
If you are in the EU or other regions with data protection laws, you have additional rights. We comply with applicable privacy regulations including GDPR.
We implement reasonable security measures including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we commit to protecting your information with industry-standard practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date. Continued use of the App means you accept the changes.
